These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the DocPix application and related services (the “Service”), provided by Tap Node S.A.L (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1) The Service
DocPix provides tools to create, edit, adjust, and export document-style photos, including passport photos, visa photos, ID photos, driver's license photos, custom-size photos, and print-ready photo formats.
2) Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to use the Service in your jurisdiction. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
3) Your content and responsibility
You may take, upload, import, generate, edit, and export photos and related outputs (“Content”). You retain your rights to your Content.
You are responsible for:
- ensuring you have the right to use, upload, generate, edit, and process any Content,
- ensuring Content complies with applicable laws and does not infringe the rights of others,
- verifying that the final photo or export meets your needs for a given purpose,
- checking the applicable document photo requirements before submission,
- understanding that acceptance of a photo may depend on the reviewing authority, document type, country, and local requirements.
4) Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for unlawful, harmful, misleading, or fraudulent activities,
- create or submit Content that violates applicable laws or the rights of others,
- attempt to access the Service in an unauthorized manner,
- interfere with or disrupt the Service, including introducing malware,
- reverse engineer the Service except where permitted by applicable law,
- misuse AI-assisted or photo processing features to create deceptive, harmful, or unauthorized content.
5) Purchases and subscriptions
Some features may be offered through in-app purchases or subscriptions. Any pricing, renewal, trial, and cancellation terms are shown at the time of purchase and handled through the applicable app store. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your app store account settings.
6) Third-party services
The Service may interact with third-party services or APIs, including analytics, advertising, infrastructure, photo processing, AI-assisted features, or technical integrations. Those third parties may have their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that are not under our control.
7) No guarantee of acceptance
DocPix is designed to help prepare document-style photos based on available presets, common requirements, and user-selected settings. We do not guarantee that any photo will be accepted by a government agency, institution, employer, school, service provider, or other reviewing authority.
8) Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet every specific requirement.
9) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tap Node S.A.L will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, revenues, opportunities, or submissions arising from or related to your use of the Service.
10) Changes and termination
We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. We may suspend or terminate access to the Service where reasonably necessary to protect the Service, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
11) Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
